    cVeganism
The body is a wonderland, a paradise of marvels; it is a living machine that operates in curious ways and each motion represents a miracle. Many Scientists have theorized the body’s operations to clarify and define its truth, however they had not explained its entirety .Buddha claims, “To keep the body in good health is a duty otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear”. Good health is the essence of all human liberties. People should cater more to the bodies’ beauty or else it will decay much sooner. In America obesity, cancer, and heart disease has become too welcomed to one’s body. Veganism is defined as the refrainment and shun of using animal products. Vegans are generally classified as ethical vegans and dietary vegans. Ethical vegans create a lifestyle that eliminates all means of animal usage, while dietary vegans exclude animal products from only diets. Veganism is the heeling for the nation; it caters not to only the dietary health but also the ethical health. Most people adopt a vegan diet for reasons of health, religion, chemicals and hormones found in meat, animal rights and cruelty, concern for the plant, and to decrease famine and hunger worldwide .Veganism is a way of living that seeks to exclude, as far as possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing and any other purpose. Veganism should be universal diet because it is immoral to consume flesh; a vegan diet is conversed from obesity and heart diseases.
    Morality Fighting Instinct
The human body is not designed to ingest meat. Too often as a result of the ingestion of meat is cancer, heart diseases, obesity, diabetes and other illnesses. All living organism are animals distinct from plant and minerals. Humans are the superior and moral animal. The inferior animals are beasts and non-human creatures that are consumed by humans and they are not moral. Humans are considered superior and moral because they are conscious, logical, and knowledgeable to ethics - right and wrong are distinct. The inferior animals are naïve and nonsensical; they do not have a belief system that brings consciousness to ethics – instinct controls the inferior animals. Humans have dominance over the animals and have taken advantage of them in an unjust manner. Humans are morally conscious in manner that the non-human animals are not and should have a better understanding how wrong it is to kill an animal for its meat. Humans act as predators towards the inferior animals in such way of making products of them via slaughter. Eating meat causes unnecessary harm to animals, claims Peter Singer of the Princeton University. Singer believes one must use the alternatives of survival, exclude eating meat. Humans have based meat eating upon its pleasurable taste, usefulness and accessibility, and nutritional value. The basis of meat eating is hypocritical, nonsensical, insensitive and immoral because no human supports the inferior animal killing a human to eat its meat based on taste, usefulness and nutritional value.
    Problems Surrounding Consuming Meat
The main health problem with eating animals comes from the fat (so goes the conventional theory). Most animals contain high levels of saturated and trans fat that when eaten, correlates with hardening of the arteries, heart disease, and stroke. Dairy products especially contain high amounts of fat. However, many people have challenged this theory.
Meat contains a lot of urokinase protein and urea, which add to the burden on the kidneys, and can destroy kidney function. There are fourteen grams of urokinase protein in every pound of steak. If living cells are put into liquid urokinase protein, their metabolic function will degenerate. Furthermore, meat lacks cellulose or fiber, and lack of fiber can easily create constipation. It is known that constipation can cause rectal cancer or piles.
There is yet another concern. Antibiotics as well as other drugs including steroids and growth hormones are either added to animal feed or injected directly into the animals. It has been reported that people eating these animals will absorb these drugs into their bodies. There is a possibility that antibiotics in meat are diminishing the effectiveness of antibiotics for human use
    Veganism and Obesity
Obesity is the disease of which there is an overproduction of body fat. In America, 60 percent of the population suffers obesity or is overweight. The Physicians Committee Responsible For Medicine released an article claiming, “Although genetic factors influence body weight, diet and lifestyle have a major effect as well. North Americans have long been heavier, compared with people in Asia or Africa where plant–based diets prevail, and vegetarians are typically slimmer than omnivores”. Also, genetics serves components of obesity. When genes are arranging for hormones, neurotransmitters and receptors, body fat is affects action because they are almost companions – as they come in contact often. Eating meat puts additional hormones that are unwanted and extra fat in the body. The consumption of meat has a direct link to obesity and it creates a controversial relationship. Meat has a higher energy and fat content compared to plants, henceforth a higher risk of obesity.Dr. T. Colin Campbell of Cornell University argues[1]:
Quite simply, the more you substitute plant foods for animal foods, the healthier you are likely to be. I now consider veganism to be the ideal diet. A vegan diet—particularly one that is low in fat—will substantially reduce disease risks. Plus, we've seen no disadvantages from veganism. In every respect, vegans appear to enjoy equal or better health in comparison to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. (The China Study, p.g 4)
The increasing body fat must be supported by extra nutrients and oxygen to survive; also, the blood vessels must circulate an additional amount of blood to the fat tissue. Nutrients consumed by the obese are usual meat as they believe it supply adequate nutrients. The duties and responsibilities of the heart grow because it is required to pump blood via additional blood vessels. With more blood circulating, pressure is added to the walls of the artery. This leads to higher blood pressure because of the increase of pressure on the artery walls. Also, excess weight will rise hear rate and lower physical ability to carry blood though the vessels.
    Veganism and Heart Disease
The American Heart Association claims heart disease is the single leading cause of death. Heart disease has a direct relation to eating meat. Eggs, dairy products, and meat have a large portion of saturated fat and cholesterol, while plants contain no cholesterol. Researchers have reported processed meats have more salt and preservatives than red meat; while, both red meat and processed meats add up to almost the same amount of saturated fat and cholesterol.[2] The arteries constitute all fatty substances as “plaque” around its walls; blow circulation becomes heavy and slow, thus leading to a delay of blood to all areas of the body. Eventually the artery will be damaged by arteriosclerotic vascular disease – a condition of little or no blood circulates to various regions of the body due to the heavy accumulation of fat and the general bodies functions are weaken. According to Thomas P. Erlinger, medical doctor of John Hopkins Hospital:
One mechanism by which red meat intake could increase coronary heart diseases (CHD) risk is by increasing levels of harmful cholesterol levels. Increased total cholesterol has long been associated with increased risk of CHD. Total cholesterol is composed of three main elements: Low -density lipoprotein cholesterol (“LDL cholesterol”), High-density lipoprotein cholesterol (“HDL cholesterol”) and triglycerides. Increased levels of LDL cholesterol and triglycerides in particular have been associated with higher risk of CHD. LDL cholesterol is therefore called “bad cholesterol”. In contrast, HDL cholesterol has been found to protect against CHD and therefore, increased levels are desirable and therefore is called “good cholesterol”. The reason red meat has the potential to increase CHD risk is because it contains a high proportion of saturated fat. Saturated fat can be converted to both “good” and “bad” cholesterol in the body. Hence, these changes could offset one another resulting in no increase in CHD risk. Conversely, a reduction in total and saturated fat intake may cause a drop in HDL cholesterol that would offset the benefit of a reduction in LDL cholesterol. Furthermore, a large part of the saturated fat in beef is stearic acid, which has little effect on blood lipids. Overall, it appears that the risk of CHD associated with fat intake might, in the end, depend upon the total balance of cholesterol raising saturated fats and cholesterol lowering unsaturated fats. Apart from its effects on cholesterol levels, red meat could contain other elements, such as animal proteins, that might adversely affect CHD risk factors, but this hypothesis has not been proven. (The Relationship Between Meat Intake and Cardiovascular Disease, p.5-6)
    Meat’s Molecular Structure
In 2003, studies at the University of California San Diego revealed that eating red meat acquaints a dangerous non-human molecule to the body’s tissues. The molecule is an atom of unfamiliar sugar called N-glycolylneuraminic acid (Neu5Gc). It is physically taken in as liquid into the body’s tissue such as secretary cells and blood vessels. Humans are biologically disable to produce the molecule as it presents itself naturally in large portions in pork, lamb and beef. The University of California San Diego’s laboratory demonstrated an experiment on three human that confirmed the digestion of Neu5Gc is a non-human molecular invader that instigates an anti-body-based immune response. In addition, other research reported to have found records of Neu5Gc in human cancer tumors. The studies’ conclusion includes the molecule may produce an immune response that potentially causes harmful inflammation. The conclusion also states a link to cancer and heart disease.
    Slaughtering The Earth
About 100 billion humans have lived on earth and an estimated 80 billion land animals are killed annually. These 80 billion animals are raised and later slaughtered by humans. In addition to land animal, creatures from the ocean and sea do lack and suffer as they are taken away from water. Therefore an estimate total of 160 billion animals are slaughtered annually. Most animals in Western countries are raised on "factory farms." These facilities are designed to produce the maximum number of animals for slaughter at the minimum expense. Animals are crowded together, disfigured and treated like machines for the conversion of feed into flesh. This is a reality that most of us will never see with our own eyes. It has been said that, "One visit to a slaughterhouse will make you a vegetarian for life." Morally assessing such act of killing animal, the conclusion declares it is criminal and a breach in spirituality. Nothing gives one the right to slaughter animals that the Supreme Being place on earth to help sustain human life. The Dalai Lama, His Holiness Tenzin Gyatso, the Fourteenth Dalai Lama of Tibet, spiritual leader of the Buddhist faith, in “Kindness, Clarity and Insight” has advised:
"Our ancestors viewed the Earth as rich and bountiful, which it is. Many people in the past also saw nature as inexhaustibly sustainable, which we now know is the case only if we care for it. It is not difficult to forgive destruction in the past which resulted from ignorance. Today, however, we have access to more information, and it is essential that we re-examine ethically what we have inherited, what we are responsible for, and what we will pass on to coming generations. Our marvels of science and technology are matched if not outweighed by many current tragedies, including human starvation in some parts of the world, and the extinction of other life-forms. The exploration of space takes place at the same time as the Earth's own oceans, seas, and fresh water areas grow increasingly polluted. Many of the Earth's habitats, animals, plants, insects, and even micro-organisms that we know as rare may not be known at all by future generations. We have the capability, and the responsibility. We must act before it is too late."(178)
    The Final Vegan Truth
Veganism should be universal diet because it is immoral to consume flesh; a vegan diet is conversed from obesity and heart diseases. Eating meat is against the universal principle of not wanting to be killed. Humans don’t want to be killed, and they don't want to be stolen from. Now, if we do that to other people, then we are acting against ourselves, and that makes us suffer. Everything that you do against others makes you suffer. One cannot bite oneself and one shouldn't stab oneself. In the same way one should not kill, because that is against the principle of life. It would make humankind suffer, so one should not don't do it. It doesn't mean one limit one selves in any way. It means humans expand their life to all kinds of life. Human life will not be limited within this body, but extended to the life of animals and all kinds of beings. That makes Human grander, greater, happier, and limitless. The spiritual aspects of a vegan diet are that it is very clean and nonviolent. "Thou shalt not kill." When God said this to a multitude, He did not say do not kill human beings, He said do not kill any beings. He said that He made all animals to befriend his people and to help His people. Did He not put the animals in our care? He said, take care of them, and rule over them. Humans should stop eating animal flesh because it is economically unfeasible to feed the world on animal products and it is an unhealthy dietary pattern. Vegans live longer, healthier life. That's a fact. Modern medicine can prolong life and medical science is keeping people alive who would die without transplants, bypasses etc; It's simpler not to eat meat. Eating meat creates bad karma.

    Dear Mrs. Cavalli:
Greeting, I write this letter in regards of employment in the psychiatric department of Coral Gables Hospital. I wisely take this opportunity to apply for a position of psychiatrist. I kindly ask of your acceptance of this letter accompanied by job application and résumé.
The requirements of this job and work ethics are parallel to each other. I believe and have proven my diligence excel the average. I spent most of my late teenage and early adult years volunteering as a crisis councilor in the summer. The experience enriched my knowledge of depression and other mental illnesses, causes and effects. I walked away learning how one can construct and destructed their depression. For many years, I have been trained to solve problems and I have mastered it. My thinking is logically and concise. I have talked numerous youths from jumping off the ledge. I have saved lives and comforted many. I am a super hero.
I graduated from Barry University with bachelor’s degree in psychology then completed 4 years of med-school at the University of Miami and did 2 years of residency.
Write this letter with genuine interest and dedication of psychiatry. To discuss more of my cadency and qualification please contact me via email at crob8893@yahoo.com or by phone, (610)-770-6607.
Thanks you for the time you have taken to read and consider my cover letter. I wait patiently for your response.
    Sincerely,
